Delete your Medirove account and data
Effective date: May 8, 2026
You can delete your Medirove account and associated data online by signing in with the account you want to delete. This page is also provided for users who cannot access the app or have already uninstalled it.
If you cannot sign in, you can still email a deletion request.
What we delete
When your account is deleted, Medirove will delete or de-identify your account profile, family profiles, uploaded reports, report metadata, extracted report text, AI summaries, generated PDFs, report chats, and other user-generated health workspace data from active systems unless limited retention is required.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records where needed for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, audit records, consent/deletion proof, or backup expiry. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups until normal backup rotation.
Expected timing
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete active-system deletion within 30 days after verifying the request. Backup expiry may take up to 90 days unless a different period is required by law or a legal hold.
Service shutdown
If Medirove plans to permanently shut down the service or stop storing user medical records, we will make reasonable efforts to give users at least 30 days' notice by email, in-app notice, website notice, or another appropriate channel. During the notice period, users should download or export available records and may request account and data deletion.
After shutdown, we will delete or de-identify user medical records and other health workspace data from active systems unless limited retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute, payment, audit, deletion proof, backup expiry, or similar obligations.
What to include in your request
- The email address used for your Medirove account.
- The sign-in provider, if known, such as Google or Apple.
- Whether you want full account deletion or deletion of selected records.
- A confirmation that you understand deletion may remove your family health workspace.
